Steak & Mango Salad
A different starter with a great combination of flavours
Can be easily adjusted for number of servings
Serves 4
Preparation Time 15 minutes
Cooking Time 10 Minutes

A large Ripe Mango
200gr good quality frying steak
Salad leaves or Rocket
Red onion
50gr Grilled Peanuts
- for the dressing
2 Limes
Soy Sauce
Walnut or Olive Oil
Paprika or Black Pepper


------for dinner parties steps 1 & 2 can be done in advance -----

1. Prepare the Asian vinaigrette by combining 4 soupspoons of SoySauce Juice and zest of the Limes, 4 soupspoons of Oil and a pinch of Paprika
2. Cut the Mango flesh into cubes. Cut Half of the onion into rings
3. Assemble the Salad onto the plates placing the salad leaves and arranging the Mango, onion and peanuts and then drizzle with the dressing
4.Spray a griddle pan with a liitle cooking oil. Put the Griddle on a high heat and when nice and hot add the steak
5. Turn the Steak a few times until cooked to your liking
6, Slice the steak into thin strips and arrange over the Salad
7. Serve immediately
